portland part iii

like promised, here is the third installment of my portland trip. there are two more special posts to come, so be on the lookout.

the thb (turkey, havarti, bacon) waffle from flavour spot. portland has the most magical food carts in the whole world; another bridge shot, i think i fell in love with these (we don't have bridges in san diego)


drinks at sapphire hotel, which used to be a brothel; stand up comedy


late night poutine at the poutine cart. why doesn't southern california have more food carts like these?

portland part ii

I was going to try to wrap up portland in this post, but it seems impossible, so part iii is on the way.

we went to see dj sega and buraka som sistema at rotture.


we biking at laurelhurst park and took the world's most wonderful nap! then it was off to my favorite bookstore, powell's.

went brandy tasting at clear creek distillery. all their ingredients are locally grown and harvested!


happy hour at clyde common is amazing and so is there burger! and one of the most epic nights ever at voicebox, a karaoke lounge.

portland part i

random shot from the car; my lovely friend viv's windowsill. i would also like to point out that the yellow deer and the horseshoe vase gifts from your truly.


the moneyball from pine state biscuits; people love to ride their bikes here


the streets were lined with petal confetti. i was definitely enamored; mural from a vintage store called rad summer vintage. the girls there were so nice and super sweet.

long overdue picture post of my amazing trip to portland. i had so much fun catching up with dear friends and just exploring the beautiful city with amazingly nice people. there is more to come, i promise!

good morning!

the first, of many, portland entry. i just had to share what i was greeted with every morning as i went out for the day; a bed of pink flowers on the ground. never failed to bring a smile and a small squeal to see it. today is my last day here, and i am so sad to be leaving.
