i love a good (and i mean good) coming-of-age film as much as the next person, and this one looks like a winner. an education is based on british journalist lynn barber's memoir and the screenplay was written by nick hornby. most importantly, i am excited about the 1960's costuming the trailer promises.

i made it

i have finally made it and settled in here in portland! i'm having a great time exploring, eating, and drinking in this cozy city. i am also fortunate to have friends here who have great taste in all things, so they have been so kind to give me so many suggestions. hopefully, blogging will resume as normal! happy monday!
