boy, oh boy, has it been a long time! i thought jason segel might be a good way to segue back into blogging.e verytime i get really excited about a host for snl, without fail, i am sorely disappointed. the writing for this show is truly horrible. with that said, my love for jason segel (almost) knows no bounds. the skit below is the only i really laughed really hard in (and, yes, that is very much because i have the humor of a 12 year old boy going through a rough time in puberty).

ambiguously gay jon hamm

this is hands down one of the funniest skits snl has done in a long time (which really isn't saying much since all the skits are pretty much bore-snore). it also help that mr. hamm is involved wearing a banana hammock and green tights. enjoy!

i'm gonna admit, i enjoyed most of last week's snl. and i'm also going to admit that i was majorly due to the fact jon hamm was hosting. it's always great to see his comedic chops. i think my favorite moment was when he did his robin williams impersonation. i almost died from laughter!

no one man should have all that power

i usually dont blog on the weekends, but after seeing kanye's performance of power on snl, i had to share. this was the highlight of an otherwise terrible episode. the white background and the dancers make it almost music video-esque.say what you want about him, he sure knows how to put on a damn good show.

he also change the lyrics for the show (one of the versus starts with "f**k snl and the whole cast"). smart move kanye, smart move.

anybody else catch zach galifianakis on saturday night live? his monologue was probably one of the best in a long time. my favorite moment was when he played the ambidextrous jazz flute player in the pink jumpsuit!


there is also backstage footage of zach actually shaving his beard between skits. for some reason this guy melts my heart. what did you guys think?

it's no new news to my friends that one of my not-so-guilty pleasures is juvenile, elementary, dirty jokes. i can go on and on and on. that is why i found this skit to be so darn amusing. not to mention the sight of taylor swift in cornrows and scruff on her chin. so, so priceless.
