i'm coming out of hibernating to report on a couple of my favorite looks from the met ball. not a compelte list, mind you, but just some stand outs.

chanel iman looks like a knock-out in this tom ford dress. of course it doesn't hurt to have tom ford as your date by your side.

as hot as chanel looked, beyonce wins.  look at that post baby body! dangerous curves ahead!

my two favorite dresses of the night.  i am no fan of gwyneth paltrow, but that tom ford number is gorgeous. say what you will about the cape, it made that outfit.

and ever a favorite of this blog, michelle williams looks amazing in her louis vuitton peplum dress.

the return of ford...tom ford, that is

i have finally returned from my extended winter slumber. the holidays were great (minus a couple of hiccups). i always love seeing everyone in town again.

i love how everyone's walks and poses look so sassy. this video is like a who's who of all my past and current girl crushes (hurrah!). and the clothes...damn, he knocked my socks off.

who else is as excited about tom ford's directorial debut? this looks amazing! not to mention, i've always had a thing for colin firth. also, a nyt article about mr. ford's debut.
